# Thinkercall — Data handling and security

> How Thinkercall handles your lead lists and call data: ownership, isolation between clients, access control, and where the data is stored.

Canonical URL: https://thinkercall.com/security

Thinkercall treats your prospect list and call data as your property: it stays in systems we control, it is never sold or shared with another client, and you can have it back or have it deleted whenever you ask.

## Your data stays yours

Your lead lists, call outcomes, and booked appointments belong to you. We do not sell them, we do not reuse them for another client, and we return or delete them on request when we stop working together.

## One client never sees another client's data

Every record is scoped to the client it belongs to and that scoping is enforced by the database itself, not by application code that a bug could bypass. An agent assigned to your campaign can see your campaign and nothing else.

## We do not store your call recordings

Call recordings stay in the dialer platform. Our systems store the call metadata — who was called, when, how long, and the outcome — and link to the recording rather than keeping a second copy of the audio.

## Access is limited and logged

Access to client data is granted by role, and the roles are enforced by the database itself rather than by the screens in front of it: an agent working your campaign cannot read your prospect list, cannot see what you are charged, and cannot reach another client at all. Changes to client records are written to an audit log that is append-only — nothing can edit or delete an entry once it is written.

## Data is held in the United States

Client records are stored in a US-region database.

## Compliance is a shared responsibility

You confirm that the list you give us is yours to call and that you hold whatever consent your industry requires. Before your campaign goes live we agree in writing which side is responsible for do-not-call screening, suppression lists, permitted calling hours, and logging opt-outs — and that split is set out in the signed agreement rather than assumed from a web page. Ask us how it works for your industry before you sign and you will get a written answer.

## Controls on the call floor

- Confidentiality is written into the agreement we sign with you: the agents on your account may not copy, share, or keep your data, and that obligation does not end when they leave Thinkercall. Ask for the wording before you sign and we will send it.
- Agents work from our own premises on company machines, not from home on their own laptops. We will set out the device, storage, and network controls that apply on the floor in writing before you sign, so you can check them against your own policy instead of taking a bullet point on trust.
- We will name the agents assigned to your campaign whenever you ask, and tell you exactly what pre-hire checking we did on them. We do not call it an accredited background check, because it is not one.

Security questions before you sign are welcome and normal. Send them to the address below and you will get a written answer, not a brochure.
